ON ASSIGNMENT: for Salt & Straw, America’s Most Iconic Ice Creams

After a long wait, I’m so excited that the new Salt & Straw cookbook is out! We did this shoot back in 2023–the book is jam packed with the whole kitchen sink, including conceptual photography, towering ice cream cones, step-by-step tutorial image sets, candid portraiture, and a number of hidden easter eggs in the photographs. Book-form, food-based projects always have a special place reserved in my heart.
