I'm Stephanie. My Chinese name translates as 'happy cloud', which honestly is a pretty apt description of me.  As a photographer, I prize the absence of light as much as light itself. Beauty exists in the shadowed depths where our imagination sees more than our eyes. It's my job to unlock that imagination.

When I'm not creating behind the lens, I'm often found in the kitchen adding some random spice drawer find into a new cake experiment. (My latest spice obsession: red shiso)

I am based in Los Angeles and am originally from San Francisco Bay Area. I will forever be chasing (happily) the Northern California fog.
